In Loving Memory

Jeff Lee

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend, colleague, and member of the Machinery Network family. Jeff Lee passed away on June 25, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.

Jeff was, above all else, a devoted husband to Shawna, a loving son, a caring brother, and a loyal friend. He approached life with kindness, humility, and an endless curiosity about the world around him. Whether the conversation centered on history, geography, politics, current events, or almost any subject imaginable, Jeff’s knowledge was remarkable, and he had a way of sharing it generously, making everyone around him feel a little wiser for the experience.

An avid outdoorsman, Jeff found his greatest joy in nature. He loved camping, exploring new places, and spending time outdoors with Shawna and his faithful companion, Gimli, who was never far from his side. His quick wit, quiet confidence, and appreciation for life’s simple moments left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Jeff was an integral part of the Machinery Network family, beginning in 1996. As an Accredited Appraiser with the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers and a longtime Treasurer of the West Coast Regional Chapter of the Machinery Dealers National Association, he became one of the most respected professionals in the machinery industry on the West Coast.

Originally from Colorado, Jeff never lost his love for the Rocky Mountains and often joked about attending his “Almost Mater,” the University of Colorado in Boulder. His dry, informed sense of humor and adventurous spirit will be remembered and sorely missed by friends, family, and colleagues alike. He reminded us that life’s greatest memories are often created around a campfire, on a trail, or simply in the company of the people you love.

His absence leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of Shawna, his family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. While we mourn his passing, we are deeply grateful for the time we shared and the cherished memories he leaves behind.

The campfire will burn a little quieter and the conversations will never be quite as interesting, but Jeff’s spirit will live on in our memories, the stories we tell, and the friendships he nurtured. We are better for having known him, and his legacy will be what we all hold in our hearts, forever.

Services to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to our beautiful national parks through the National Park Foundation.

With our deepest love, respect, and gratitude,
The Machinery Network Family
